We tried thin sliced pork chops and while they were delicious and even the kiddo asked for seconds, it wasn’t as juicy as a regular thicker cut boneless pork chop.

Ingredient notes
- Boneless Pork Chops – The time and temperature we use is for boneless regular sized pork chops. You’ll need to adjust the temperature for bone-in.
- Sugar – Just a little sugar, if you cannot have it you can leave it out.
- Granulated Garlic – We use a coarse style garlic, not powdered.
- Granulated Onion – Again, this is coarse, not powdered which is finer and will require less.
- Parsley – We use dried but you could also use fresh.
- Celery Seed – A bit of this makes a huge difference, so good!
- Avocado Oil – This is our preferred high smoke point oil.
- Salt and Pepper

Frequently asked questions
We prefer thick pork chops for air frying. We want that sear on the outside of the pork. By the time the pork chop got that beautiful sear on the top and bottom the middle was a little overcooked.
Cook thick pork chops at 350 degrees F, 8 mins per side. Cook thin pork chops for 5 minutes per side.
The pork chops are done when they reach 145° F measured in the center, this is the lowest safe point for pork chops. We go to about 155-160 for well-done pork chops.

This sounds fabulous. I have to start using my air fryer more! I can’t wait to try this!
Pork chops are one of those meals that don’t taste good unless you cook them perfectly. Your air fried pork chops look absolutely moist and delicious!
I can’t wait to try this recipe! Finally a healthier version of one of my favorite recipes!
Oh my gosh these are amazing! Thank you so much!
Love that these are made in the air fryer! So much healthier than fried and just as delicious!
This dry rub was amazing! Our pork chops were super thick (from Costco), so they took forever to cook. They ended up totally worth it though—delicious!!!
So glad you enjoyed! Our family loves this rub too – it’s perfection 🙂
I’m about to do mine and they are the super thick ones from Costco. How long did yours take if you don’t mine me asking? Thanks.
5 mins per side for thin and 8 minutes per side for thick 🙂
You said per side, but you shouldn’t have to flip them in the air fryer?
We recommend flipping for even browning. 🙂 Some air fryers won’t brown both sides evenly if yours does you don’t need to flip.
Your Air Fried Pork Chops were delicious!!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed 😀

I wonder if it would be just as good without the sugar. I can’t have any on my diet. ☹️
Absolutely! It gives it just a tiny bit of sweetness and the amount is minimal so you can definitely leave it out for this recipe. 🙂
