With turkey burgers, we add a bit of seasoning more than the salt and pepper we use on our regular air fryer burgers to give them a good flavor. We like using granulated garlic, granulated onion, parsley, worchestire sauce, salt, and pepper.

Love this idea! Do you find the turkey burgers come out a bit dry cooking in the air fryer? (That’s what usually happens to me when I’ve tried making turkey burgers in the past).

I wonder if stuffing the turkey burgers with cheese would help? Curious if you’ve experimented like this at all 🙂

    Thanks for reading!

    1. Not dry at all, but another way we like to keep in the moisture is by adding some chopped red pepper and chopped onions. 🙂

  2. What did you put directly underneath the burger on the basket? It looks like parchment paper. I am new to the air fryer club.
    Thanks.

    1. Hi Anne!

Yes I used a piece of unbleached parchment paper. You could also put it right on the rack, but using it makes for much easier cleanup.

    1. Hi Diane,
I don’t recommend adding bread crumbs to burgers as it will take all the moisture and result in a dry and unpleasant texture.
