What am I having? I’ll have a Cocoa Coffee, please!

    What is Cocoa Coffee?

    coffee and cocoa mix

Coffee and Cocoa are two of my favorite hot drinks. I place high-quality cocoa powder in coffee (I’ve also used cacao powder) and then make it as I would my cocoa, but with strong coffee added. I get my coffee strong by using my Keurig® brewer. I make about 6oz of coffee and then fill it up with some warm milk. Top it off as you top off your hot cocoa. For me, this is whipped cream, a dusting of cocoa powder, and a generous drizzle of my homemade chocolate syrup.

To make it a really delicious cocoa coffee recipe you want to use quality ingredients. I use Dunkin’ Donuts French Vanilla Flavored Coffee. (psst, it’s available at Walmart!) I like using the K-Cup® Pods as they allow me to really get a strong brew.

Plus, by using a K-Cup® Pod I can make it for everyone to enjoy as strong as they’d like. If they want more coffee, more cocoa. It’s almost as simple as adding cocoa powder to coffee, but you need to remember this is cocoa coffee so that means more milk than water.
