These Holiday Mocktails for Kids are healthy, fun, and delicious! Best of all adults can enjoy them too. This post is sponsored by BJ’s Wholesale Club.
These layered smoothies are paired with plain seltzer to give it a little fizz. They’re fun for kids and adults and you can get creative with the flavors to match any holiday.
We go through seltzer like it’s water. I love the fizziness and for the holidays it’s perfect to add to your favorite punches, juices, or smoothies to add a bit of fizz!
INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED FOR MOCKTAILS FOR KIDS
I always buy fresh and frozen produce at our local BJ’s Wholesale Club. We’re always making smoothies, juices, meal prepping, and we love to snack on fruit as a frozen treat instead of ice cream 🙂
During the holidays, time is even more important. Did you know BJ’s offers a variety of digital conveniences? For instance, you can get same-day delivery right to your door in as little as two hours. Plus save even more by downloading the BJ’s mobile app to get the most out of your membership, by using Add-to-Card digital coupons while shopping in-Club.
WHAT OTHER FRUITS OR VEGGIES CAN I ADD?
We suggest sticking with red and green fruits and vegetables for Christmas, but you can do any flavors you like!
HOW TO MAKE MOCKTAILS FOR KIDS
Start off by making the smoothies. You’ll be doing a layered smoothie and then topping with the plain seltzer.
To create the green color, we mixed mango, pineapple, and spinach with water.
To create the red/pink color, we mixed strawberries and banana with a little water.
Once both smoothies were blended, we created a layered smoothie in a glass cup.
Then we slowly poured in the seltzer water.
Once the bubbles go down you could add a little more seltzer.
Then serve right away! When the colors mix, they may get a little brown, but it’s still delicious. You could even serve the colors separately if you’d like.
