Our instant pot pork chops are juicy and tender and perfect over rice or noodles. Quick and recipe with just a few minutes of prep.
These instant pot pork chops only take a few minutes to sear and then you’re ready to just let the instant pot do the rest of the cooking. We love making this at least once a month and you can also add in things like sliced onions, mushrooms, or even sliced bell peppers.

Recipe ingredient and notes
- Boneless Pork Chops – We use boneless pork chops so it’s easy for our kiddos and serving.
- Avocado Oil – This is our cooking oil of choice.
- Spices – We use granulated garlic, parsley, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Chicken broth – We use homemade, but you can also use storebought.
- Worchestershire Sauce – If you can’t use this or don’t have it you can also use steak sauce or just omit.

Season the pork chops on both sides.
Sear the pork chops in the instant pot on both sides on the saute function with the avocado oil.
After searing the pork chops remove them from the instant pot and set them aside.
Pour the chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce into the instant pot and deglaze the bits on the bottom, this is all of the flavor. Return the pork chops back to the instant pot.
Choose manual mode and cook for 15 minutes and then natural release for 5 minutes, and then carefully quick release.
Recipe tips and variations
- Thinner pork chops will cook quicker, you may need to reduce the cooking time.
- Do not overcrowd the instant pot or the pork chops will not cook properly.
Storage and reheating tips
- Refrigerate: Store any leftovers in an air-tight container in the refrigerator and enjoy within 3-4 days.
- Freeze: To freeze leftover pork chops place in a freezer safe container. Freeze for up to 2-3 months. The sauce may seperate, but it will still taste delicious!
- Reheat: To reheat pork chops you can use your oven or air fryer at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes, oven at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or microwave for 3-4 minutes.

The pork chops are done when they reach 145° F measured in the center, this is the lowest safe point for pork chops. We go to about 155-160 for well-done pork chops.
There’s a fat layer on the outer rim of the pork chops, just scoring into that fat layer should prevent the pork chops from curling up.
We like serving with broccoli, asparagus, mixed vegetables, carrots, or whatever we have in the house that is seasonal.

- 1-2 tablespoon avocado oil
- 4 pork chops
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Pour 1-2 tablespoons of avocado oil into your instant pot and place on saute.
- While the instant pot is heating up combine the seasonings and rub onto your pork chops.
- Once the instant pot is hot, add the pork chops without overcrowding.
- Allow the pork chops to sear in the instant pot on both sides for 2-3 minutes each flipping once.
- Remove the pork chops from the instant pot and deglaze the pan with the chicken broth and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. Use a spoon to scrape up all the bits.
- Place the pork chops back into the instant pot. Place on the lid and switch to sealing.
- Choose manual mode and cook for 15 minutes and then natural release for 5 minutes, and then carefully quick release.
- Serve with your favorite sides.
